Eileen Atkinson
Our dear Eileen has been put on Hospice and is beginning her final steps of her journey to heaven. Please pray for her, her husband Drew, her kids Hannah and Cameron, and all her siblings and family. Our hearts are so heavy with sorrow at this time. Please also be respectful of her large family and their need to share these days with her. Visits need to be prearranged and very short. Eileen has been constantly aware of and so thankful for the prayers and love of her parish family. May we all continue to storm the heavens with prayer in support of her and her loved ones.

Year 2 Parent Connect - Sept. 29th
This week's Confirmation class focused on the Sacrament of Confirmation as the completion of baptismal grace and the sacrament of Christian maturity. We also went over some misconceptions candidates may have about receiving the sacrament. Our candidates took some time to look over the baptismal promises you made on their behalf when they were baptized (if they were baptized as infants). This week at Confirmation we talked about the existence of God and the implications this has on our lives. Teenagers will likely have a discussion with someone who does not believe in God or who challenges their belief in God at some during high school. This week we began to give teenagers some practical reasons why there is a Creator, and that Creator is God.
