Congress is for everyone – not only for people in ministry at the parish. If you’ve been wanting to understand and grow more in faith, but need a little help getting there, please consider this: it is a weekend of amazing speakers, workshops, prayer experiences, art exhibits, and a beautiful sacred space for prayer and reflection with the Blessed Sacrament. If you haven’t been in a while or have never been, please consider attending the 2019 Congress in Anaheim on March 21 - 24, 2019. As most of you have heard, my sister Carol passed away on September 6. She was initially admitted to St. John's in Oxnard with a diagnosis of pneumonia in mid-August. He neck was swelling and sores appeared on her chest. Her oncologist was on vacation and not much treatment was happening beyond antibiotics and extra oxygen, so after a week there my sister Beth began to advocate for her and to ask for further testing. Davis Tate
Please pray for a local boy, Davis Tate, who has suffered extensive injuries from a 30 foot fall in Canada last week. He had surgery and doctors are hopeful he may be able to walk again in a year. May God wrap his healing arms around Davis and give his parent strength and courage during this difficult time.Read more
Eileen Atkinson

I have just received the news that Eillen Atkinson has cancer and is in need of our prayers. This news is very new and we do not have any more details at this time. The family, Cel Hickok et al, has asked that Eileen not be disturbed.
