Come together to celebrate the 27th annual Worldwide Day of Prayer. The theme of the day is "Celebrating the Gifts of the Spiritual Journey, The Gift of Thomas Keating, and The Gift of Centering Prayer."

Long-time parishioner, Helen Gehrke would like to thank all of those who prayed for her son Dennis. Sadly, he passed away, but Helen is asking that prayers continue for her son's 12 year old daughter and all the family. This is a difficult time for all of the them.

Why Doesn't God Make Things Earier
Perhaps the most vexing faith-question of all-time is the problem of God’s silence and his seeming indifference: why does God allow evil? Why do bad things happen to good people? If there is an all-powerful and all-loving God, how do you explain that millions of innocent people can suffer and die under Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, in massacres in Rwanda, Algeria, and the recent terrorist killings in the USA? Where is God in all of this?
