Year 2 Parent Connect - Sept. 29th

September 26, 2019 - 11:19am

Catholic ConfirmationThis week's Confirmation class focused on the Sacrament of Confirmation as the completion of baptismal grace and the sacrament of Christian maturity. We also went over some misconceptions candidates may have about receiving the sacrament. Our candidates took some time to look over the baptismal promises you made on their behalf when they were baptized (if they were baptized as infants). We then took time at the end of the session to prayerfully focus ourselves on the remainder of the preparation. If you have not done so already, this is a great time to check in on your candidate to ask how they are doing in the process. Offer any support you can, and take some time to pray with them in the coming weeks as they get closer to receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.
