Grace Before Meals
Praying as a family before meals is an essential link to family life because it allows God to be part of your family’s experience. Through the incredible act of feeding one another, God is the link that strengthens families.
This was stressed in Zenit’s interview in Dublin, Ireland, last week, with Fr. Four and a half years ago Iasked you to pray for my 17 year old granddaughter, Claire Fontanella, who had a very serious melanoma on her back. After surgery and oral chemotherapy, Claire has been cancer-free. This week at her annual oncology CT exam they discovered two small masses in her lung and an enlarged lymph node in her chest. Ralph Davis
My father Ralph Davis was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. He is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, May 23 at Kaiser Hospital, West Los Angeles. We expect he will be hospitalized for about three days. Recovery should take about six weeks and he will be at home in Los Angeles for this.
