James Fontanella
Dear Prayer Line Members,
Many of you know our daughter, Danielle, who lives in So Carolina with her husband and 3 children. When their family has had health issues, I asked for your prayers in their behalf and you were all so thoughtful and caring. Now Dani's husband, James Fontanella, who is serving in the Air Force, has inherited an autoimmune illness called HLA-B27 and he is experiencing inflammation throughout his body - his eyes, his skin, and in his stomach and intestines (colitis). He is unable to absorb any nutrients from food. He was a healthy triathlon athlete weighing 170 lbs. Now he is down to 135 lbs and is continuing to lose weight. He has been on steroids, biologics, antispasmodics, and antibiotics. Nothing seems to be working. He was hospitalized this morning in Charleston, SC with the plan to provide him nourishment thru his arteries (TPN) but they can't start it until his fever comes down. I am sharing all this with you because I think it makes praying for someone more helpful if you know their circumstances. Please pray that our Lord will encompass Jamie with His love and grace and will guide his doctors in their treatment of him for a full recovery. Please also say a prayer for Danielle. Thank you all so much.

Sharon Cline has been a parishioner for over 60 years at STA where her 6 children were baptized and raised in such a wonderful community. So many memories of church youth group, festias, communions, confirmations, and a wedding were all celebrated at STA along with our dad, Austin Cline's memorial service 9 years ago. Sharon was placed in hospice care last week. Please pray for God's compassion to take her from us quickly and to ease her suffering so that she can join our dad.
Warmly,
The Cline children, Chris, Kati, Rick, Karen, Carla and...Read more
