Dear friends and family,
We got happy news from mom's doctor today: that her cancer is in remission. Thanks be to God!
This is a stealthy disease, with a high likelihood of coming back, so she will have to be monitored closely. She still has to have another round of chemo and will be on maintenance drugs. But her present situation is "cancer-free"!
We are very grateful for the present good news, and for your prayers which have helped so deeply. Many, many thanks...and please don't stop! :) My mom wants you to know that you're in her prayers, and that she can't begin to express her gratitude.
Love in Christ,
Wendy-Irene

Claire Fontanella
Dear Fellow Parishioners, Five years ago we asked for prayers for our then 17year old granddaughter, Claire Fontanella, who had been diagnosed with an unusual form of melanoma. Her mother, our daughter, Danielle, has taken Claire to a Gerson Wellness Clinic ( www.gersonclinic.com ) for a 3-week detox program...Read more

Dear Friends,
Four and a half years ago Iasked you to pray for my 17 year old granddaughter, Claire Fontanella, who had a very serious melanoma on her back. After surgery and oral chemotherapy, Claire has been cancer-free. This week at her annual oncology CT exam they discovered two small masses in her lung and an enlarged lymph node in her chest. They will be doing extensive test on her in the next few days. I am asking once again if you will pray along with our family that the test results show that she is still cancer-free. Claire...Read more

My father Ralph Davis was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. He is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, May 23 at Kaiser Hospital, West Los Angeles. We expect he will be hospitalized for about three days. Recovery should take about six weeks and he will be at home in Los Angeles for this. Further treatment (if any) will be determined after the surgery. Please keep my dad in your prayers.Read more
