Rose Grimm update

June 15, 2018 - 11:02am

Dear friends,

My mom will have her first round of post-operation chemo tomorrow. Although this is the right time, we are uneasy about how this will hit her since she has not fully recovered from the surgery, and is very low energy. Please pray for the chemo to be both effective and gentle, and for her overall recovery.  She is so grateful for your prayers, which have sustained her (and us) at this tough time!

I also must ask you for prayer for my beloved mother-in-law Betty Zepeda. As some of you know, in recent weeks she also was diagnosed with cancer, and had a large tumor removed last week. She is now recovering from the surgery and waiting to hear if she will need to have chemo. It would be a great mercy if she didn't. She is a very tough lady, but she is in her late 80s!  Of your charity, please remember her healing in your prayers as well.

Thank you so much for your kindness and support. You are a true blessing to our family.

In Christ,

Wendy-Irene

Holy Patroness of those in need, St. Rita, you were humble, pure and patient. Your pleadings with your divine Spouse are irresistible, so please obtain for me from our risen Jesus the request I make of you: for all Our Lady's intentions for Rose and Betty, especially, if it be God's will, speedy and complete healing. Be kind to me for the greater glory of God, and I shall honor you and sing your praises forever. Glorious St. Rita, you miraculously participated in the sorrowful passion of our Lord Jesus Christ. Obtain for me now the grace to suffer with resignation the troubles of this life, and protect me in all my needs. Amen.

Blessed Solanus Casey, pray for us.

Blessed John Henry Newman, pray for us.

National Eucharistic Revival

May 6, 2022

The Bishops of the United States are calling for a three-year grassroots revival of devotion and belief in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. They believe that God wants to see a movement of Catholics across the United States, healed, converted, formed, and unified by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist—and sent out in mission “for the life of the world.”

These three years will culminate in the first National Eucharistic Congress in the United States in almost fifty years. Almost a hundred thousand Catholics will join together in Indianapolis for a once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage toward the...Read more
